The Albuquerque Women’s Giving Circle is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization with progressive values founded by Mindy Gutow, Clarissa Krinsky, and Alison Peterson in 2020.   

A giving circle is a philanthropic effort to bring donors together to fund targeted efforts that meet the giving priorities of the membership. A giving circle also aims to increase the membership’s awareness of the work of varying community organizations in the community. 

The Albuquerque Women’s Giving Circle (AWGC) was established specifically to support initiatives that benefit the women and children of Albuquerque. 

We believe that by pooling our giving dollars we can more effectively contribute to positive social change for underserved women and children in the Albuquerque area. We contribute to meaningful changes in our community by providing financial support to organizations that strive to better the lives of women and children affected by, but not limited to, poverty, domestic violence, immigration, racial or gender inequality or discrimination, and economic uncertainty.
